What Are Gate Futures Points

Gate Futures Points are a dedicated growth and rewards system created by Gate for futures trading users. The platform tracks users’ trading volume, asset balances, and referral activity to calculate points that reflect engagement and contribution. These points are more than just numbers—they represent a trader’s participation and loyalty within the Gate ecosystem.

With the new points framework, Futures Points unlock a variety of platform benefits. Users can redeem them for cash tokens, trial vouchers for trading positions, demo funds, or gain access to limited-time events and project subscriptions. In essence, Gate Futures Points provide futures users with unique growth opportunities.

How Futures Points Are Generated

The Gate Futures Points system launches on October 14, 2025. Every day, the platform automatically calculates trading volumes, asset holdings, and referral data, then credits points to user accounts the following day. There’s no need for manual application—point calculation is transparent and fair.

“Trading Points”: If a user’s daily futures trading volume reaches 400 USDT, they earn 1 point. There’s no upper limit—the higher the volume, the more points earned. For example, a daily trading volume of 819,200 USDT earns 12 points, and trading over 13 million USDT earns 16 points. This tiered structure ensures high-frequency traders and active users are rewarded more, driving positive engagement.

“Balance Points”: The platform takes daily snapshots of futures accounts (or spot accounts under unified accounts) and evaluates USDT and BTC asset values. Users earn 1 point daily for balances between $100 and $1,000; 2 points for $1,000 to $10,000; 3 points for $10,000 to $100,000; and 4 points for balances above $100,000. This design allows long-term holders to consistently accumulate points, rewarding asset activity even when not actively trading.

“Referral Points”: When a user invites a new futures trader and that user completes initial trading tasks, the inviter earns extra points. Inviting one new user earns 1 point, two users earn 2 points, and three or more users earn a maximum of 3 points. With this mechanism, Gate encourages community members to actively share and grow the platform ecosystem, supporting joint development for traders and the platform.

What Can Gate Futures Points Do

Futures Points are not just a scoring metric—they’re actual benefit points usable on the Gate platform. Users can redeem points for cash tokens, trial vouchers for trading positions, or demo funds to enhance live trading or increase their account balance. Gate also plans to tie Futures Points to special airdrops, Token Generation Events (TGEs), and subscription opportunities in the future, offering high-point users exclusive privileges.

Users can use points immediately after they are credited. When redeeming, the system deducts points from the earliest expiring group first to avoid waste. This setup allows active users to accumulate and use points efficiently, gaining more benefits in the futures ecosystem.

Points Validity Period and Management Mechanism

Each group of Gate Futures Points is valid for 15 days from the date it is credited. Points expire automatically and cannot be restored after expiration. For example, if a user receives 10 points on October 14, those points are valid from October 14 to October 29, 23:59 UTC+8. Unused points are cleared by the system upon expiration.

This short-term validity structure motivates users to actively redeem points while keeping the system dynamic and reflective of the latest trading activity.

Difference from Alpha Points

Gate Futures Points and Alpha Points are entirely separate systems. Alpha Points are for all platform users and are used for Alpha events and project whitelists, while Futures Points are reserved for futures trading participants. The earning methods, redemption options, and distribution rules differ, and the two systems are not interconnected. This allows futures users to focus on accumulating exclusive points through trading and asset management, free from interference by other programs.

Summary: Gate Futures Points Add Value to Every Trade

With Gate Futures Points now live, futures trading is evolving from a pure profit contest into a dynamic cycle of trading, points, and platform benefits. Whether you’re a high-frequency trader, a long-term holder, or a community advocate, the points system delivers exclusive growth rewards.

Gate Futures Points make every trade more meaningful. In the future, points will serve not only as recognition but also as a way to connect trading, incentives, and ecosystem rewards. For users committed to long-term success in the futures market, the Gate Futures Points system accelerates both growth and returns.

AI-Native Settlement Layers: How United Stables Is Building the Next Financial Rail

Stablecoins were originally designed as dollar substitutes within exchanges, primarily used for asset pricing and trade settlement. As on-chain financial ecosystems have matured, their role has expanded beyond simple payments to include collateral assets, cross-chain liquidity mediums, and unified settlement units. In particular, as AI systems and automated agents begin to participate directly in economic activity, demand has risen sharply for programmable value units capable of instant settlement. This shift is pushing stablecoins toward the role of foundational financial infrastructure.

The ve(3,3) Flywheel Explained: How AERO Tokenomics Powers Aerodrome’s DeFi Economy

In the competition for DeFi liquidity, high-inflation mining alone is no longer enough to build lasting advantages. Aerodrome applies the ve(3,3) economic model to redesign token emissions, voting mechanisms, and revenue distribution, creating a liquidity flywheel centered on governance and cash flow. This article examines AERO tokenomics, the veAERO locking mechanism, and protocol revenue models to explain how Aerodrome builds a sustainable DeFi economic system.

How Does PAXG Work? In-Depth Overview of the Physical Gold Tokenization Mechanism

PAXG (Pax Gold) is a tokenized asset backed by physical gold, issued by the fintech company Paxos and traded on the Ethereum blockchain as an ERC-20 token. The core concept is to tokenize physical gold on-chain, with each PAXG token representing ownership of a certain amount of gold. This structure enables investors to hold and trade gold in the form of a digital asset.

Aerodrome Tokenomics: How ve(3,3) Powers Base's Most Profitable DEX

AERO is the native token of Aerodrome Finance, a core decentralized exchange and liquidity protocol in the Base ecosystem. It is primarily used for liquidity incentives and ecosystem operations. veAERO is a governance NFT that users receive by locking AERO, representing both voting power and the right to share protocol revenue. Through a dual track structure of AERO as a utility token and veAERO as a governance credential, Aerodrome separates liquidity usage value from long term governance power, allowing participants to act as liquidity providers, governance decision makers, and revenue sharers within the same system.

How is the price of PAXG determined? Pegging mechanism, trading depth, and influencing factors

PAXG (Pax Gold) is a tokenized asset backed by physical gold reserves, launched by fintech firm Paxos and issued as an ERC-20 token on the Ethereum blockchain. The core concept is to digitally represent real-world gold assets, allowing investors to hold and trade gold via the blockchain network. Because each PAXG token corresponds to a specific quantity of physical gold, its price is theoretically expected to closely track the global gold market.

Hybrid Collateral Stablecoins: Inside United Stables' Stability and Yield Architecture

In the early stages of the crypto market, traditional stablecoins mainly relied on single-reserve or single-collateral models. Their primary focus was price stability and payment convenience, which allowed them to become foundational tools for on-chain trading and capital flows. As the market has entered a more mature financial phase, however, this structure has begun to reveal limitations, including high concentration risk and the difficulty of balancing liquidity with yield. These constraints have driven the evolution toward multi-layer collateral and portfolio-based designs, such as the dual-layer hybrid collateral architecture proposed by United Stables, which seeks to redefine the underlying logic of stable assets.
