Gate Event Contracts: Predict short-term BTC & ETH moves and compete for $50,000 in prizes

Markets can be quite volatile in the short term, which can translate into opportunities for quick-minded traders. Gate Event Contracts are created to help make accessing these opportunities easier; instead of providing complex leveraged futures, users can simply decide whether BTC or ETH will move up or down within a specified amount of time. With the option to choose contract durations of 5-min, 15-min, 60-min and 240-min, event contracts are a simple way to gain exposure to short-term movements in the market. They are settled in line with real market price changes and are easy to understand for both newcomers and experienced traders alike.

To welcome the launch of this new product, Gate is introducing an Event Contracts Launch Carnival featuring a total prize pool of $50,000 split across various types of rewards.

First Trade Protection

The first 2,000 users who end up at a loss on their first event contract may be reimbursed up to 5 USDT per trade.

Double Profit Rewards

Eligible net profits earned on event contracts can be doubled with a limit of 500 USDT per user.

Trading Sprint

Users with at least 1,000 USDT in cumulative trade volume will share a 20,000 USDT prize pool based on their individual trade volume, where individual prize amounts can go up to 1,000 USDT.

The campaign is running from July 21 to July 31 (UTC+8), giving traders ample time to familiarize themselves with the product and to capitalize on these new opportunities. It is always important to analyze the market and manage the risk associated with trading beforehand.

Would you consider trying Gate Event Contracts to make quick predictions on BTC and ETH, or do you find the traditional spot and futures trading methods more suitable for your needs?

Is traditional spot trading really the most reliable? But this time the prize pool is $50k, plus double profits and a trading sprint—so why not give it a try? The costs are low anyway.

This activity is kind of interesting—playing around with small stakes on the predictions seems pretty suitable.

Perpetual contracts are indeed simpler than futures in the short term, but the volatility and risks are also not small—newcomers still need to be careful.

The 5-minute to 4-hour time limits are flexible, making them suitable for short-term swing trading, and there’s also loss protection, which is friendly for someone as conservative as me.
