A few days ago in the afternoon, during intraday trading, prices repeatedly churned and jolted—watching it made people a little sleepy. As it turned out, the real move was hidden at the high end. $MAV Looked like there was no obvious breakdown, but in reality every rebound failed to follow through with volume. The moment sell orders came out, the price immediately lost its key level.
I wasn’t thrown off by the sideways chop on the surface. After re-checking MAV, I found that resistance above had been pressing down all along, and the weakness in buy support kept becoming more obvious. So around 0.01362, I placed open longs, then waited for it to reveal exhaustion on its own—only then let the shorts take over the rhythm.
From 0.01362 down to 0.00879, the floating profit is currently +1,707.8%. This pullback really gave me face. Holding a short also felt very comfortable.
First, close 80%. Don’t rush the remaining 20%—put the protective stop back into the cost area. Take profits when it’s time to take them; don’t get greedy for the last bite.
Risk control done ahead of time is called being rational. Cutting losses after you’re already down is called stubbornly holding on. Chasing a drop can easily get taught by a rebound. After that, I’ll point out immediately when a new pattern forms.
