Mars Finance news: On July 25, a draft of the latest version of the U.S. Senate’s “Cryptocurrency Market Structure Act” (the CLARITY Act) includes provisions encouraging white-hat hackers to responsibly disclose cybersecurity vulnerabilities. It proposes authorizing rewards for individuals who identify and report security vulnerabilities, in order to strengthen protection of digital asset infrastructure before the vulnerabilities are exploited maliciously. The provision adopts the views of former CFTC Chair J. Christopher Giancarlo, who has long advocated for innovation in digital assets.
