Mars Finance news: On July 25, according to Coinglass data, Coinbase’s Bitcoin premium index has been in a negative premium range for 67 consecutive days (from May 19 to now). The latest value is -0.0708%. Previously, this index was in a negative premium range for 40 consecutive days from January 16 to February 24 this year, setting the longest “streak of negative premiums” since the indicator was launched, exceeding by about 30 days the consecutive negative premium days during the “1011 crash” period. Coinbase’s Bitcoin premium index is used to measure the difference between the Bitcoin price on Coinbase and the global market average price. A negative premium typically reflects heavier selling pressure in the US market, a decline in investors’ risk appetite, increased safe-haven sentiment, or capital outflows.
