Robinhood Chain RWA Surge: Real-World Asset Volume Multiplies Fivefold!

When the Robinhood Chain mainnet first launched, critics were quick to point out a glaring irony: despite being built specifically to tokenize equities, the network's early activity was almost entirely driven by speculative memecoins.
Less than two weeks later, the narrative is officially shifting. According to new data from DefiLlama, real-world assets (RWAs) on the chain have exploded, marking a massive fivefold jump!

The Numbers Behind the RWA Surge
Active market value for RWAs on the network has surged to roughly $70 million, up from the low tens of millions when the chain first went live. RWAs now account for a much healthier slice of the network's composition.

The tokenized stocks that the network was explicitly designed to support are finally pulling in serious volume.

Leading the charge with an incredible $26.6 million in daily trading volume.
Nvidia ($NVDA): Pulling in roughly $14 million daily.
SpaceX ($SPCX): Trailing closely behind at $6.4 million.

A dozen Robinhood-based tokenized stocks are now clearing more than $500,000 a day, with at least five individual assets clearing over $1 million daily.

🧗‍♂️ Still a Long Way to Go vs. Memecoins
While the RWA growth is impressive, memecoins and stablecoins still rule the roost on the network

Total Value Locked (TVL): TVL has roughly tripled since mid-July to about $312 million, with the chain clearing over $600 million in daily decentralized exchange (DEX) volume.

The Memecoin Kingmakers: Tokens like CASHCAT, Hoodrat, and Swole Doge still dominate the trending tabs and general DEX volume rankings. Tokenized equities currently account for roughly $55 million of the chain's daily volume, less than 10% of total network activity.

The initial critique that Robinhood had built specialized infrastructure for tokenized stocks only to attract pure speculation is slowly being challenged. While the network is still a wild playground for memecoins, the rapid scaling of tokenized equities proves that real-world asset utility is starting to materialize on-chain.

Data shows tokenized stocks are starting to gain momentum, but in the $312M TVL, RWA accounts for only a small portion. Speculative enthusiasm for memecoins is still running high, and it will take time for the Robinhood Chain to truly live up to its original mission.

RWA’s fivefold growth is indeed impressive, but memecoins are still the main force.
