Honestly, this time the hardest part of the short isn’t judging the direction—it’s whether you dare to keep holding after being right. After it broke past 1.0030, the price kept bouncing back and forth, and there were several decent pullbacks in between. I almost got off early because I lost patience, until it pumped to 0.7126 and I finally cashed this waiting out completely, +1394.32%.

At the time, the bids at the highs were already very weak. The pump looked lively, but in reality it couldn’t hold every time it surged, and the selloff after each spike got faster and faster. This detail made me not chase longs—I’d rather wait for the shorts to play out their rhythm, rather than catch a throwing knife when emotions are hottest.

After the market finally gave the answer, I was actually even more relieved that I wasn’t scared off by the rebound halfway through. In the crypto world, what truly tortures people is often not being wrong—it’s being right but still not being able to hold. This time, at least, I kept my own patience.
