19 Semiconductor and Tech Stocks Fall Over 25% in July; SOXX Enters Bear Market

According to LSEG data, 19 semiconductor and technology stocks fell more than 25% in July as of Friday (July 17), with the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index (SOXX) declining 20% from recent highs to enter bear market territory. SOXX, which tracks 30 semiconductor manufacturers and suppliers, has fallen 18.2% for the month. Leading decliners include SanDisk down 40.4%, Corning down 39.5%, Astera Labs down 37.1%, and Marvell Technology down 36.7%. Micron Technology fell 26.5% but remains up 197% year-to-date.
