Anthropic Alumni Launch Mirendil, Raise $200M for Self-Improving AI Models

According to BlockBeats, Mirendil, an AI startup founded by former Anthropic researchers Behnam Neyshabur and Harsh Mehta, announced on June 25 the completion of a $200 million Series A round at a $1 billion valuation. Andreessen Horowitz and Kleiner Perkins led the funding, with participation from Nvidia. Mirendil aims to develop recursive self-improving models that can autonomously optimize and iterate, helping scientists build specialized AI models for fields like medicine and materials science.
