According to Peckshield and Slowmist, an attacker drained $912,000 in BTCB from 42DAO vaults on BNB Chain on July 22, exploiting a manipulated oracle price feed. Balance Coin (BLC) collapsed from near $1 to approximately $0.000795, a 99.92% decline, as the attacker manipulated the Spotter contract to inject a false price into the system, triggering liquidations and selling the seized collateral on Pancakeswap. The token's market cap dropped from roughly $3.5 million to $2,800. 42DAO has not announced a recovery plan.
