According to Hyperinsight monitoring, a major Bitcoin shorter that opened a $45.9 million BTC short position yesterday successfully exited with approximately $974,000 profit on July 17. The short was triggered for full liquidation this morning when Bitcoin broke the preset stop-profit level of $63,500. Based on an average entry price of $64,939.80, the position realized gains of $974,000; after deducting combined opening and closing fees of approximately $33,000, net profit stands at around $941,000. The whale held the short position for approximately 29 hours, utilizing 5x leveraged margin to execute the trade.
