Bloomberg Analyst: Fed May Purchase Stock ETFs in Next Major Bear Market, July 7

According to Bloomberg senior ETF analyst Eric Balchunas, on July 7 he published research indicating the U.S. stock market is becoming a de facto retirement fund, with 55% of Americans holding stocks. Balchunas predicts that during the next significant bear market, the Federal Reserve will likely purchase stock ETFs for market stabilization, similar to its 2020 purchases of corporate bond ETFs and actions taken by central banks in Japan and China.
