Brazil Approves Mercosur-Singapore FTA on June 30, Guarantees 100% Zero Tariffs Effective August 1

According to the Brazilian government, Brazil approved on June 30 the free trade agreement between Mercosur and Singapore, the first such deal between the bloc and a Southeast Asian country. The agreement ensures 100% zero tariffs on all Brazilian exports to Singapore and takes effect on August 1, 2026.
