Broadcom AI Chip Sales Soar 65% to $20B, Eyes $100B by 2027 vs. Nvidia Growth

According to The Motley Fool, Broadcom's custom AI application-specific integrated circuits (ASICs) saw sales surge 65% in fiscal 2025 (ended November 2025) to $20 billion, representing 31% of total revenue. The company projects this will reach at least $100 billion by fiscal 2027, comprising over 58% of anticipated total revenue.

Broadcom's custom AI accelerators are being adopted by major tech firms including Google, Meta, OpenAI, and Anthropic as cost-effective alternatives to Nvidia's data center GPUs for large-scale deployment. Analysts forecast Broadcom's revenue and earnings per share will grow at 53% and 66% compound annual growth rates through fiscal 2028, with the stock trading at 25x forward earnings, compared to Nvidia's 16x multiple amid its projected 46% CAGR through 2029.
