Burberry Achieves First All-Category Sales Growth in Three Years, US Up 12%

According to Jin10, in its first quarter ended June, Burberry achieved sales growth across all product categories for the first time in three years, with same-store sales up 5% year-over-year, roughly in line with analyst expectations. The Americas region saw particularly strong growth of 12%, driven by demand for the brand's iconic check patterns in clothing and accessories. Chief Executive Joshua Schulman's two-year transformation strategy—which included inventory cuts, price reductions, and refocus on signature products—contributed to the recovery. However, the broader luxury sector remains under pressure; Burberry shares have fallen 12% year-to-date.
