CertiK Launches CertiK Hunt Invite-Only Bug Bounty Platform on July 1

According to CertiK, the blockchain security firm launched CertiK Hunt on July 1, 2026, an invite-only platform connecting vetted security researchers with Web3 projects. The platform enables bug bounty programs, audit competitions, and AI-based security challenges while filtering low-quality submissions that have hindered traditional bug bounty initiatives.

Every vulnerability submitted through CertiK Hunt undergoes independent verification and severity assessment before reaching project teams. CertiK said this neutral review process is designed to reduce disputes over vulnerability severity and bounty payouts, addressing a long-standing challenge where researchers frequently encountered payment delays or disagreements over compensation for valid findings. The curated model prioritizes meaningful security intelligence over submission volume, allowing projects to receive fewer but higher-quality vulnerability reports.
