China Debuts Three Next-Gen Humanoid Robots at WAIC 2026

According to CCTV Finance, three next-generation humanoid robots were unveiled today (July 20) at the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC) in Shanghai, marking breakthroughs in embodied AI technology.

The humanoid robot Yuanzheng A3 Ultra was selected as the only embodied intelligence product among the conference's ten featured innovations. Global-first pilot versions of the transformable mecha GD01 and the shape-shifting personal robot Qiyuan T1 were also showcased, with the latter capable of automatically switching movement modes to adapt to diverse living environments.
