China East Pure Benzene Falls to 7,185 Yuan/Ton, Down 485 Yuan/Ton Since June 1

According to Jin10, as of June 22, China East pure benzene closed at 7,185 yuan/ton, down 485 yuan/ton from June 1 (6.3% decline). The drop was driven by weakness in crude oil futures, which fell to March lows following Iran-U.S. negotiations. Lower crude prices combined with reduced downstream demand—amid reported losses across industries—dampened purchasing enthusiasm for the feedstock. However, the absence of incoming vessels at major East China ports provided some price support, limiting downside pressure in the near term.
