China Grants Zero Tariffs to 20 Non-LDC African Nations Starting May 1

Gate News message, April 28 — China's Ministry of Finance announced that the Tariff Commission of the State Council will grant zero-tariff treatment to 20 African nations that have diplomatic relations with China and are not classified as least-developed countries (LDCs), effective May 1, 2026 through April 30, 2028.
