China Opens Lithium Carbonate Futures and Options to Foreign Traders as of July 3

According to CCTV, on July 3, the China Securities Regulatory Commission approved foreign traders to participate in lithium carbonate futures and options trading on the Guangzhou Futures Exchange, effective from 9 a.m. this morning. Lithium carbonate is widely used in power and energy storage battery production. China is the world's largest producer, consumer, and importer of lithium carbonate.
