China's Foreign Ministry Rejects U.S. Democracy Foundation Report on July 16, Says It Contains Lies

According to Jin10, China's Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian rejected a report published by the U.S. National Endowment for Democracy (NED) on July 16. Lin said the report is filled with lies and false information, deliberately fabricating narratives of "authoritarian expansion" and smearing China's external engagement and international cooperation while stoking "China threat" rhetoric. The ministry expressed strong opposition to what it called "malicious" behavior and urged the U.S. to correct its perception of China and abandon ideological bias.
