China's General Public Budget Revenue Rises 4% in Jan-May to 100.5 Trillion Yuan

According to China's Ministry of Finance, the nation's general public budget revenue reached 100.465 trillion yuan during January-May 2026, up 4% year-over-year. Tax revenue totaled 82.617 trillion yuan, increasing 4.4% compared to the same period last year.

Securities transaction stamp duty surged 88.8% year-over-year to 126.2 billion yuan, marking the strongest growth among major revenue categories, with total stamp duty reaching 242.6 billion yuan, up 35.8% from a year earlier.
