China's Three Financial Regulators Convene Fourth Meeting on Consumer Protection Today

According to PANews, China's financial regulator, the People's Bank of China, and the China Securities Regulatory Commission held their fourth joint coordination meeting on financial consumer and investor protection today (June 22). The meeting focused on consumer protection policy frameworks, cross-sector issues, and progress in international cooperation. Regulators agreed to strengthen inter-agency coordination and information sharing on key areas including online marketing standards for financial products, transparent disclosure of comprehensive financing costs for personal loans, and personal data governance in the financial sector.
