China's Total Outstanding Loans Hit 284.29 Trillion Yuan as of End of April, Up 5.5% YoY

According to the People's Bank of China, as of end of April, total outstanding loans in both yuan and foreign currency reached 284.29 trillion yuan, up 5.5% year-over-year. Outstanding yuan-denominated loans stood at 280.5 trillion yuan, rising 5.6% annually. In the first four months, yuan loans increased by 8.59 trillion yuan.
