Companies With Highest AI Spending Show 10% Employee Growth, 12% Entry-Level Hiring Surge

According to research by Ramp and Revelio Labs analyzing 21,559 U.S. companies from 2021 through early 2026, high AI-spending enterprises saw employee headcount increase by approximately 10% and entry-level hiring rise roughly 12% after AI adoption. Companies with low AI adoption showed no significant change. Hiring growth emerged within 6 to 12 months and extended beyond engineering to sales, administration, finance, and customer service roles. AI adoption concentrated in knowledge-intensive sectors, with information technology leading, followed by finance and professional services.
