Coronation Asset Management Cuts Chipmaker Holdings from 8% to 5% in Q2, Shifts to India

According to Bloomberg, South African asset manager Coronation Asset Management reduced its combined position in chipmakers SK Hynix and Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company from approximately 8% to 5% in the second quarter. The $31 billion emerging markets fund increased its India market allocation as market expectations for artificial intelligence-related stocks have reached elevated levels.
