According to Yahoo Finance, Jamie Dimon, CEO of JPMorgan Chase, recently expressed skepticism about whether massive current AI investments will deliver market expectations, while endorsing SpaceX's bold plan to deploy data centers in space. In an interview with Master Investor Podcast, Dimon stated that while AI may eventually generate returns similar to the internet era, it will "not produce results in the way or timeline you expect." He noted that companies may eventually control generative AI spending and seek lower-cost applications, which "will create some problems." However, Dimon described SpaceX as an "extraordinary company" and defended its space data center initiative, citing potential advantages: "very cheap energy, low-cost cooling, and an extremely stable operating environment." SpaceX shares fell over 5% below their $135 IPO price since listing.
