DSRV, a Korean blockchain infrastructure company, launched its on-chain financial platform DSRV Portal on the 9th. The platform integrates payment, settlement, wallet, custody, and issuance functions into a single operating system for financial institutions and enterprises. DSRV developed Portal to address infrastructure fragmentation issues that businesses faced when procuring individual functions from separate service providers. The company operates over 70 blockchain networks and has completed Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) registration in Korea.
DSRV Portal provides payment, settlement, wallet, custody, and issuance capabilities within one platform. According to DSRV, the platform was developed to solve infrastructure fragmentation problems that companies experienced when procuring custody, payment, and wallet functions from different service providers. The company stated that the platform's operating system structure allows organizations to select needed functions without establishing separate blockchain development teams, significantly reducing development costs and implementation timelines.
DSRV explained that the platform can address different on-chain demands across financial sectors with a single solution, including trade payment processing for banks and real-world asset (RWA) intermediation for securities firms. The company added that the platform's expandable structure allows adoption by banks, securities firms, card companies, electronic financial service providers, and fintech companies regardless of industry sector, with customization options aligned to each organization's business direction.
DSRV stated that Portal was designed on a foundation of thorough regulatory compliance. The company completed VASP registration, establishing legal status to provide virtual asset (digital asset) services within Korea's regulatory framework. Portal incorporates a multi-stage electronic approval system that executes transactions only after passing predefined approval procedures.
The platform employs multi-party computation (MPC) key management technology that distributes cryptographic keys into multiple fragments to prevent theft risks. DSRV stores assets in cold wallets maintained in offline environments completely separated from internet networks. According to the company, these components operate organically to implement strong internal controls. DSRV noted that major processing steps are recorded on the blockchain, reducing compliance burdens for adopting institutions that must adhere to anti-money laundering (AML) regulations and foreign exchange transaction laws.
DSRV is one of Asia's major staking infrastructure companies, currently operating over 70 blockchain networks. The company is discussing Portal service integration with domestic and international enterprises. Jung Ji-yoon, Chief Operating Officer of DSRV, stated that DSRV Portal is a product that dramatically reduces the burden and opportunity costs for institutions that previously had to individually integrate multiple services. Jung added that the company will provide an environment where domestic companies can focus solely on business without regulatory concerns, based on global blockchain infrastructure operation experience and understanding of Korea's financial regulatory environment.
