ADA-5.61%
According to The Block, EMURGO, one of Cardano's three founding entities and developer of the SecondFi wallet, stepped down from the blockchain's Pentad governance group on Wednesday to focus on recovering user funds following a $2.4 million exploit. The breach, which exploited a flaw in the wallet's address generation system, drained approximately 16 million ADA from 374 wallets last month. EMURGO announced a recovery plan and expects to reimburse affected users within two weeks.
