Ethereum Rises 11% in Early July, Historic Data Shows July Gains Average 43%

ETH1.58%
According to Sharplink lead researcher Steven Ehrlich via ChainCatcher, Ethereum has risen 11% in early July 2026. Historical data from 2020 to 2025 reveals asymmetric performance in July: years with gains averaged 43% increases, while down years averaged only 5% declines. Ehrlich noted that such July strength is typically driven by Ethereum-specific catalysts combined with supply-demand imbalances, including institutional infrastructure development, protocol roadmap upgrades, and ongoing corporate accumulation of ETH.
