European equity indexes opened mixed on July 16. The FTSE 100 (UK) fell 62.42 points, down 0.59% to 10,453.50, while the DAX 30 (Germany), CAC 40 (France), and Italy's FTSE MIB declined by 0.11%, 0.06%, and 0.05% respectively. The Stoxx 50 rose 8.37 points, up 0.13% to 6,273.95, and Spain's IBEX 35 gained 18.54 points, up 0.10% to 19,294.04.
