FBI Moves To Forfeit Nearly $1 Million In Assets Tied To Crypto Businessman Adam Iza

According to an FBI forfeiture notice posted on June 25, 2026, the agency is moving to seize nearly $1 million in assets tied to Adam Iza, a California cryptocurrency businessman known as "The Godfather," who has pleaded guilty to wire fraud, tax evasion, civil rights violations and an attempted Bitcoin robbery across two federal cases.

The listed seizures total approximately $997,355 and include $432,311 in cash from multiple California locations, a Jacob & Co. Opera Godfather musical watch valued at $275,000, luxury goods worth $175,558, vehicles totaling $105,300, and Godfather memorabilia valued at $8,870. Iza admitted to criminal conduct in California—involving conspiracy against rights, wire fraud and tax evasion—and in Connecticut pleaded guilty to a Hobbs Act robbery conspiracy tied to an attempted kidnapping and Bitcoin robbery. The forfeiture claim deadline is August 18, 2026.
