Gate News reports that in Q2 2026, according to Gate’s official announcements, the platform is accelerating its expansion of a global, full-scale financial services footprint. On June 1, Gate officially launched stock trading services, enabling users to directly trade USDT for U.S. stocks and ETF assets. The first batch of tradable instruments supports more than 10,000 U.S. stocks and ETFs. On June 15, Gate announced the official launch of Hong Kong stock trading. On June 18, it expanded Hong Kong stock trading instruments to more than 1,500. On June 22, Gate launched Korean stock trading, with the first batch covering the top 1,000 listed companies by market-cap ranking on Korean exchanges. To date, Gate has cumulatively listed 12,500+ instruments across U.S. stocks, Hong Kong stocks, and Korean stocks.
Meanwhile, Gate Pre-IPOs and Direct IPOs were officially launched in Q2. In the first tranche, SpaceX Pre-IPOs accumulated subscription funds of more than $396 million, while Direct IPOs accumulated subscription funds of more than $143 million. In June, Gate formally rolled out its global wealth management brand, Gate Wealth, integrating multi-asset allocation capabilities, including digital assets, global stocks, ETFs, and RWAs. The platform’s spot liquidity and trading scale rank second globally, and its derivatives market remains in the top three in the industry.
On security, as of June 22, Gate’s latest total reserve value reached $8.18B, with a reserve ratio of 115%, covering nearly 500 types of user assets. This quarter, GT completed the destruction of more than 2.57 million tokens, bringing total cumulative destructions to nearly 190 million tokens. On compliance, Gate has completed its licensing layout in key markets including Europe, Japan, Dubai, and Australia, with Gate Europe having obtained an EU MiCA license and a payment institution license.
