Gate News message, April 28 — Gold prices rose to $4,693.08 per ounce, up 0.24% intraday, while silver climbed to $75.876 per ounce, gaining 0.53%.
BVIX (Bitcoin volatility index) stood at 41.67, down 0.10% intraday. EVIX (Ethereum volatility index) was at 59.90, declining 2.12%.
On the currency front, USD/CNH (U.S. dollar to offshore Chinese yuan) held steady at 6.82571 with no intraday change, while USD/JPY (U.S. dollar to Japanese yen) remained at 159.407, also unchanged.
In global equities, the Stoxx Europe 50 index (EUSTX50) fell 0.58% to 5,872.05 points, while the FTSE 100 index (UK100) rose 0.12% to 10,333.87 points and the DAX 40 index (GER40) gained 0.16% to 24,141.31 points.
WTI crude oil increased 0.20% to $99.65 per barrel, and Brent crude oil rose 0.28% to $108.50 per barrel.
