Grayscale Files for First US Worldcoin Spot ETF; WLD Surges 4-5% on News

Grayscale has filed an application with the SEC to launch the first spot Worldcoin ETF in the US, according to its S-1 filing. The fund is planned for Nasdaq listing under the ticker symbol GWLD and will hold WLD directly. Following the announcement, WLD price surged approximately 4-5% during the day. If approved, the Grayscale Worldcoin ETF will be the first regulated investment product offering direct US market exposure to Worldcoin, with custody services provided by BitGo Bank & Trust. The application marks Grayscale's 18th cryptocurrency ETF offering.
