GTT Raises LNG Carrier Orders Forecast to 550 Units Amid U.S.-Led Project Boom

According to French containment specialist GTT, the company raised its forecast for LNG carrier tank system orders to roughly 550 units in 2026-2035 (from over 450 previously), driven by increased final investment decisions on new export terminals. GTT received 56 new LNG carrier orders in the first half of 2026, bringing its order backlog to 272 vessels. The company's CEO stated: "We see no signs of slowdown in LNG investments."
