Hezbollah Launches Rocket and Drone Strike on Israeli Military Position in Retaliation

Gate News message, April 21 — Hezbollah announced that it fired rockets and deployed attack drones against an Israeli military artillery position in the Giladis settlement at 18:50 on April 21, in response to Israeli violations of a ceasefire agreement.

The militant group stated that the targeted Israeli artillery unit had recently shelled southern Lebanon. The strike came after Israel allegedly attacked Lebanese civilians and damaged homes, breaching the ceasefire accord reached on April 17 between Lebanon, Israel, and the United States following ambassador-level talks in Washington on April 14.
