According to Yonhap News, on July 20, Homeplus secured 200 billion won in emergency operating funds and filed an immediate appeal against the Seoul Rehabilitation Court's decision to terminate its restructuring proceedings.

Meanwhile, financial institutions that provided funding to Homeplus' leased stores have designated representative banks for each business location and are now preparing discussions on a voluntary creditor agreement to address potential debt restructuring, pending the court's decision.
