India's Data Center Pipeline Hits 8.3GW, Led by Mumbai's 3.75GW

According to Knight Frank India, India's data center development pipeline across major markets reached 8.33 GW, comprising 322.4 MW under construction, 2.92 GW committed, and 5.41 GW in early development stages. Mumbai leads with 3.75 GW, followed by Hyderabad at 1.93 GW and Chennai at 1.36 GW. The pipeline represents over 5x India's current operational capacity of 1.6 GW, driven by AI adoption, cloud computing, and data localization mandates.
