India's Oil Minister Says Current Crude Reserves Last Only 76-80 Days, Plans to Boost Storage

According to Jin10, India's Oil Minister Hardeep Singh Pradhan said on July 2 that the country needs to increase petroleum and fuel storage capacity, noting that current crude oil inventory across ports, terminals, refineries and strategic reserves can sustain the nation for only 76-80 days. Pradhan stated that New Delhi "should store more," adding that the move is among lessons learned from crises in the Gulf region, and India will work to expand storage capacity.
