According to Xinhua News Agency, on July 28, Iranian Ambassador to China Farzin stated that Iran will not be involved in any actions taken by Houthi forces in the region and has no interest in escalating tensions. He stressed that resolving the Bab el-Mandeb situation requires first addressing the differences between Houthi forces and Saudi Arabia, adding that only by resolving this root cause can the maritime corridor issue be solved.
