KB Asset Management Launches Active ETF Division With 4 Trillion Won Target by 2028

According to an interview with Edaily on July 27, KB Asset Management established a dedicated Active ETF division with ambitious growth targets. The division aims to exceed 4 trillion Korean won in assets under management and capture over 10% market share in domestic active ETFs within three years.

Currently, KB Asset Management manages four active ETF products with 620 billion Korean won in total assets. The division plans to launch two to three active ETF products annually. On July 28, KB Asset Management will debut its first strategic product, 'RISE Kosdaq Covered Call Active ETF,' combining small and mid-cap exposure with covered call strategies to manage volatility.
