Korean Entertainment Giants' Market Cap Falls 8.04 Trillion Won in 2026

According to Korea Exchange, the combined market capitalization of JYP Entertainment, YG Entertainment, SM Entertainment, and HIVE fell 8.04 trillion Korean won as of July 16, declining 40.9% on average since year-end 2025. The four companies' total market value dropped from 21.01 trillion won at the end of 2025 to 12.98 trillion won.

SM Entertainment saw the steepest decline at 48.8%, followed by YG Entertainment at 42.1%, HIVE at 36.0%, and JYP Entertainment at 35.7%.
