Lebanon's President Aoun Rejects Israel's Continued Agreement Violations on July 27

According to Lebanon's presidential statement, President Michel Aoun said on July 27 that while Lebanon is committed to implementing the framework agreement signed with Israel, the country's continued violations of the accord are unacceptable. During a meeting at the presidential palace with UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Türk, Aoun stated that Israel's occupation of southern Lebanon and destruction of residential areas constitute direct violations of human rights and international law.
