Lithium Iron Phosphate Prices Double to 25,000 Yuan, Demand Remains Strong

According to CCTV Finance, lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery prices have doubled year-over-year as of June 21, 2026, with a 400-kilogram pack now priced above 25,000 yuan compared to 10,000 yuan a year ago. Despite the surge, demand remains robust. Manufacturers report fully stocked warehouses and surging orders, with over 90% of production allocated to major EV makers. Industry executives attribute the price rise to strong export demand for new energy vehicles and energy storage products, combined with upstream cost pressures from rising raw material prices.
