Liuzhou Upgrades Rainfall Alert to Red on Typhoon Maysak, 91mm Already Recorded

According to CCTV News, Liuzhou Meteorological Bureau upgraded its rainfall alert to red across all urban districts at 22:44 today (July 5), as Typhoon Maysak brings heavy precipitation to the region. The Lubei Shibiping area has already recorded 91mm of rainfall since 20:00. Forecasters expect 40–70mm of additional precipitation within the next three hours, with localized amounts exceeding 90mm, accompanied by lightning and gusty winds; risk of urban waterlogging is significant.
