Manho Steel Receives Penalties for Accounting Violations; Auditor Faces Restrictions on July 8

According to the Korea Financial Services Commission's Securities and Futures Commission, Manho Steel, a listed company on the Korea Composite Stock Price Index, received penalties on July 8 for violating accounting standards through overstating revenues. The decision included a fine and appointment of a new statutory auditor. External auditor Shinhan Accounting and two of its CPAs also received sanctions restricting their audit activities.
