Mirae Asset Launches U.S. Tech NYSE100 Active ETF With 73% IT Weight on July 21

Mirae Asset announced on July 20 that it will list the TIGER U.S. Tech NYSE100 Active ETF on July 21, positioning the product to capitalize on upcoming mega IPOs from U.S. tech firms including OpenAI and Anthropic. The fund carries a 73% information technology sector allocation, exceeding the 61% IT weight of the Nasdaq-100 and 37.6% of the S&P 500. According to team lead Oh Jun-hyuk, the active ETF structure enables direct participation in IPO events and rapid purchases on listing day. The fund tracks the NYSE-100 index while allocating 3–5% positions to fundamentally strong companies, with flexibility to increase positions up to 15% around major corporate events. Mirage Asset cited its prior TIGER Global AI Active ETF, launched in October 2023, which delivered approximately 281% returns, outperforming both the S&P 500 and Nasdaq indices over the same period.
