The Nasdaq Golden Dragon China Index closed down 0.7% today. Among major Chinese tech stocks, Tencent fell 3.5%, NetEase declined 3.4%, Alibaba dropped 2%, and Pinduoduo slid 1.3%, while MediaTek subsidiary ASM Pacific Technology surged 8.7%. In ETF trading, the China Internet ETF (KWEB) fell 1.53%, while the Nasdaq China Tech ETF (CQQQ) rose 3.81%. The iShares MSCI Emerging Markets ex-China ETF (EMXC) climbed 3.63% and the Xtrackers Harvest CSI 500 ETF (ASHS) gained 5.46%.
