According to CNBC, NBCUniversal's Peacock content will be embedded directly into YouTube Premium subscriptions in the U.S. starting early 2027, the companies announced Monday (July 28). The integration includes NBC Sports programming featuring the NFL and NBA, Universal films such as the Minions franchise, and original content including "Real Housewives" and "Love Island USA." YouTube Premium costs from $8.99 per month, while Peacock Premium currently costs $10.99 monthly.
YouTube Premium has over 125 million global subscribers, while Peacock reached 48 million paying subscribers as of June 30 and achieved profitability for the first time last quarter. The partnership also extends NBCUniversal's distribution agreement with YouTube TV and enhances advertising capabilities between the two companies.
